The Jellyfish Effect is my blog discussing (some) topical issues. My focus is  mostly on how a lot of what we are exposed to in society, from parenting to the media, shapes our perspectives and behaviour, especially when it comes to gender identity, social stereotyping, sexism, our mental health and how we see the world. My aim is to have a go at expressing my thoughts in a semi-coherent fashion and maybe contribute something to the growing dialogue around some important social issues. I hope those who happen upon my blog enjoy reading it. Feel free to leave a comment and share with your friends if the mood strikes you!
